Originally from Tenbury Wells in Worcestershire, I recently bought my first house with my fiancé in Hereford. I enjoy walking my dog Bert the Boxer and I’m excited to be planning my wedding!
Part time I also work in a nursing home, which I love.
How long have you been at Chunc and what are your main roles and responsibilities?
I have worked within the HR Smith Group of Companies just shy of 3 years, 2 of which I’ve spent in the shipping department. Last year I was offered the opportunity to work temporarily as an Office Administrator at Chunc but I enjoyed it so much I chose to stay! I have been with Chunc for around 6 months as Sales Administrator and Office Supervisor.
My role is really varied and ranges from processing quotes and orders, data collation and analysis, to general office maintenance and supervising the sales admin team. I work closely with multiple teams including the shipping department, our seating specialists and production to keep our customers informed of the status of their orders. I also schedule appointments with potential and existing clients on behalf of our seating specialists.
Chunc is a great fit for me as I’ve previously worked in the care sector in a SEN residential home and a nursing home since I was 16. At Ludlow College, I completed a Level 3 Diploma in Child Care and Education to build on my skillset.
Our team is so passionate and goes above and beyond to support our clients who face complex postural and mobility needs. One of the most rewarding aspects of working here is speaking with parents, families and carers and learning how our chairs are making a real difference to our client’s quality of life – whether by delivering greater independence and inclusion or adaptability and comfort in their day-to-day lives.
